The 2026 Hospital Authority Convention grandly opened on 11 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. As one of the key events of Hong Kong International Healthcare Week, this year’s Convention brought together more than 9,000 local, Mainland and overseas healthcare professionals and expert speakers, the highest participation in its history.

The content of this year’s Convention centered on the core values of the Hospital Authority (HA): “People First, Professionalism as the Cornerstone, Dedication and Commitment, and Collective Efforts.” Topics included the sustainable development of healthcare, chronic disease management, cancer prevention and treatment, palliative care, and the application of artificial intelligence and robotics in healthcare. At the opening ceremony, officiating guests included Acting Chief Secretary for Administration Mr. Cheuk Wing-hing, Secretary for Health Professor Lo Chung-mau, Hospital Authority Chairman Mr. Henry Fan, and Hospital Authority Chief Executive Dr. Libby Lee Ha-yun. Professor Zeng Yixin, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission, was represented by Li Wei, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the National Health Commission, who attended and delivered a speech on his behalf.

At this exhibition, Lachesis highlighted its self-developed software-hardware integrated products, including a mobile intelligent blood collection robot, an intelligent emergency cart system, a smart RFID label writing and application all-in-one system, an intelligent closed-loop infusion safety monitoring system, and an intelligent narcotic and psychotropic drug management workstation.

Centering on core hospital business scenarios, Lachesis has innovatively built multi-scenario intelligent agents that are fully integrated into the entire workflow, including diagnosis and treatment, clinical nursing, patient services, companion-free care, perioperative management, pharmaceutical and medical consumables management, and quality control. It has created three holistic solutions: panoramic smart wards, smart pharmacy, and smart operating rooms.
