Building a New OpenHarmony Smart Healthcare Ecosystem: Lachesis Appears at the High-Quality Development Promotion Meeting for Domestic Operating Systems and Chips

Jun-25, 2026

In the deep-water zone of digital and intelligent transformation in healthcare, self-reliance and controllability of core technologies have become the inevitable path to high-quality development. Recently, at the Jiangangshan Software Industrial Park in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, an OR promotion meeting on OpenHarmony and RISC-V chips was held with great enthusiasm.

The conference brought together representatives from 150 key enterprises, universities, and institutions to discuss the blueprint for high-quality development of the domestic software and hardware ecosystem, with government and enterprises working together to promote the upgrading of the domestic software and hardware industry. Leaders including Qin Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shenzhen, and Tao Yongxin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shenzhen, attended the meeting.

At the invitation of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, Lachesis appeared in the medical scenario exhibition area of the conference, showcasing core products and solutions in the fields of OpenHarmony smart wards and OpenHarmony smart community health.

This conference was the fourth work promotion meeting held in Shenzhen since last August on the theme of building the “OpenHarmony + RISC-V” ecosystem. The four meetings were held respectively in Nanshan, Futian, Longgang, and Bao'an districts, sending a clear and strong signal to all districts, departments, relevant enterprises, and all sectors of society: fully advance the construction of the OpenHarmony ecosystem and take the lead in building a “City of OpenHarmony.”

The open-source OpenHarmony operating system and the open-source chip instruction set architecture are accelerating their integration, building a new ecosystem that empowers a wide range of industries. Today, OpenHarmony has already been deeply applied, strongly driving industries to improve quality and efficiency and move toward high-quality development.

OpenHarmony Smart Ward

Empowering New Advances in In-Hospital Diagnosis and Treatment

Relying on the distributed technology foundation of the OpenHarmony operating system, the solution breaks down the technical barriers between various devices and systems within the ward and builds an integrated smart ecosystem of “device interconnection and data interoperability” for medical and nursing care.

The solution closely focuses on the digital needs of the full scenarios of “doctors, nurses, patients, and management,” covering smart bedside interaction, smart emergency rescue, smart infusion, smart identity recognition, smart vital signs monitoring, and smart management of medicines and consumables, thereby driving a fundamental shift in medical operations from traditional “experience-driven” to “data-intelligence-driven.”

By establishing whole-process quality control and risk early warning mechanisms, the solution weaves a tight patient safety protection network; by using intelligent tools, it greatly unleashes the productivity of medical and nursing staff, allowing them to return to the essence of clinical care; at the same time, relying on real-time perception of operational data and decision-making optimization, it provides scientific support for refined hospital management and lays a solid, safe, and sustainable domestic digital foundation for hospitals to build intelligent wards that cover all scenarios and the entire process and fully integrate clinical needs.

OpenHarmony Smart Community Health

A New Closed Loop for Full-Cycle Health Services

Relying on the interconnection capabilities of the OpenHarmony ecosystem, through a unified community health information platform, and combined with distributed data collaboration and AI analysis engines, the solution extends medical services from community health center consultation rooms to families. Centering on four core links—smart health monitoring, smart medical visits, smart referrals, and smart follow-up visits—it enables “people, devices, and data” to flow among community health centers, hospitals, and homes, realizing whole-process intelligence from monitoring to referral.

In community health and home-based care scenarios, the solution provides elderly-friendly intelligent monitoring devices and systems, covering non-contact vital signs monitoring, smart blood glucose management, wearable dynamic ECG monitoring, and more. Data is seamlessly synchronized through the OpenHarmony system, providing precise support for home management of chronic disease patients, enabling doctors to remotely grasp patients' health dynamics in real time, and allowing high-quality medical resources to reach the “last mile” of service.

Having been deeply engaged in smart healthcare for more than ten years, Lachesis has always adhered to the dual-wheel drive of “independent technology research and development + closeness to clinical scenarios.”

Against the backdrop of the country's vigorous promotion of domestic independent innovation, Lachesis is using the OpenHarmony ecosystem as a link to continuously accelerate the penetration of OpenHarmony scenarios and technological iteration in the medical field, promote the accelerated development of more domestically independent smart healthcare solutions, and allow the dividends of digital and intelligent healthcare to benefit everyone.
