Lachesis Hosts Delegation from South Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute, and Medical Devices Industry Association to Explore New AI-Enabled Smart Healthcare Cooperation
Date:2025/11/30

On November 28th, Lee Se-ran, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea, led a delegation on a visit to Lachesis. The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute, and the Korea Medical Devices Industry Association.

As an innovative leader in the smart healthcare field, Lachesis was selected as a key enterprise for the delegation's visit. The visit centered on the theme "Application Cases and Cooperation Prospects of AI Technology in Shenzhen's Nursing Industry," aiming to jointly explore cooperation opportunities for China and South Korea in addressing challenges within the medical field.

At the beginning of the visit, the delegation toured the Lachesis Smart Exhibition Hall. Through scenario-based demonstrations and product interactions, Lachesis comprehensively showcased its three integrated solutions: Smart Wards, Smart Pharmacies, and Smart Operating Rooms. The delegation members showed keen interest, spending considerable time at various product displays and engaging in hands-on experiences.

During the tour, Lachesis provided detailed technical explanations and case studies in response to the delegation's specific inquiries regarding equipment reliability, data security, system compatibility, and operational costs. This gave the delegation a more intuitive and profound understanding of the technological maturity, clinical relevance, and innovative practicality of Lachesis's products.

In the subsequent discussion, Lee Se-ran, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, outlined the core challenges facing South Korea's healthcare system: under the dual pressures of low birth rates and an aging population, the structural shortage of healthcare human resources is becoming increasingly acute, making it imperative to enhance the operational efficiency and service quality of existing medical resources. The delegation expressed high recognition for Lachesis's intelligent solutions that effectively reduce the workload of medical staff and improve patient safety. They indicated that this type of clinical-needs-driven technological innovation aligns closely with South Korea's goal of building a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system through technological means.

Zhu Shuangquan, Chairman of Lachesis, first expressed gratitude for the delegation's visit and candid exchange. Addressing the South Korean side's focus on improving nursing efficiency and the need for intelligent transformation, both parties explored potential areas for cooperation. They agreed that several products within the Smart Ward and Smart Pharmacy solutions presented cooperation opportunities. The South Korean side specifically mentioned that pharmacy-related equipment could serve as an initial direction for practical exploration.

Lachesis had previously established connections with the South Korean industry by participating in mainstream professional exhibitions such as the Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) in 2024 and the Korea Hospital Fair (KHF) in 2025. This high-level exchange opened a new window for further exploring cooperation.

The visit concluded with pragmatic and open dialogue. Both sides not only delved into the application of innovative technologies in specific scenarios but also exchanged substantive views on practical pathways to advance cooperation. They clarified their intention to maintain communication and coordinate efforts moving forward.

For Lachesis, the visit by this high-level delegation was not only a valuable international exchange but also a high-standard validation of its products and solutions. Lachesis remains committed to leveraging its clinically relevant technologies and products. Together with South Korean partners, it will explore smart healthcare solutions tailored to local needs, jointly contributing to the enhancement of medical service efficiency and quality.
